The sub-1800g Fox 36 SL injects plushness and steering responsiveness into a true Trail fork. The Trail-focused GRIP X damper has been updated to approach the ride feel of GRIP X2, delivering the best performance per gram in its class.
An evolution of the 36 chassis in 130 to 140mm of travel, the 36 SL Factory with Genuine Kashima Coat gives modern Trail riders the confidence to push their limits — available with the GRIP X or GRIP X2 damper.
GRIP X Damper — Featuring 3-way adjustability with high-speed compression, low-speed compression, and low-speed rebound, the GRIP X is designed for quick setup and trail-ready functionality. It delivers the exemplary descent performance of the GRIP X2, refined for less weight and easier setup, with an easy-access firm mode for pedalling efficiency.
GRIP X2 Damper — Fox's most tunable, supportive, and smooth descent-focused damper. Riders sit higher in the travel while tyres stay glued to the ground, cornering with increased traction and the confidence to push the limits — all while reducing rider fatigue. Adjustability: 8-click high-speed compression, 18-click low-speed compression, 8-click high-speed rebound, 16-click low-speed rebound.
New Arch Design — Generatively designed and optimised by Fox engineers, the new arch wraps around the lowers to increase torsional stiffness by a full 20% over the previous 36. Strategic cutouts help minimise weight without compromising rigidity.
FLOAT GlideCore Air Spring — The seamlessly compliant GlideCore air spring reduces friction by moving with the fork under dynamic load. Large cross-section O-rings dampen and control this motion while also reducing breakaway friction, resulting in smoother, more consistent suspension action in all conditions.
